  • Tuesday, June 14, 2016: “Representing Yourself On and Off the Field”, Guest Speaker Coach Jeff Fleener (Brandeis High School)
  • Sunday, September 18: CPR & First Aid certification — 4 hours of instruction and certification
  • Monday, October 10, 2016: Officer George Segura (SAPD) spoke to boys and moms about technology awareness (including sexting, cyberbullying & internet predators)
  • Sunday, November 13, 2016:  Nutrition Teens will Like!, Kristin Bussey-Smith, MD, treated boys to a hands-on demonstration with lots of delicious and nutritious food to sample!
  • Sunday, December 11, 2016:  Social Event, SASO San Antonio holiday family gathering; the whole family was invited to this purely-for-fun social event (that also counts as a personal growth meeting!)!
  • Sunday,  February 12, 2017: “Social Etiquette, Why Bother?”  Miss Manners of SA lead this interactive program to explore all aspects of etiquette for teens
